Along with producing and selling wines and spirits, Springfield Manor is a venue for weddings and other various events.  There is also a bed & breakfast on the property.  During my internship I utilize customer service skills , hospitality skills, as well as food and beverage knowledge by greeting guests, holding wine tastings, serving food, and assisting with various events.

Celebrate Frederick is a non-profit organization in the Office of Special Events in Historic Downtown Frederick.  Throughout my internship I developed social media campaigns with the purpose of increasing attendance and awareness of events, maintained website pages relating to specific events, assisted in event management including communication with entertainment and stationing the information booth, and communicated with vendors including the discussion of contracts, placement at events, and required information.
